Health An Safety Environment At Ambrosia:

Ambrosia strongly emphasize to ensure better social, environmental and economic standards, we mitigate numerous hazards to keep our employees safe. Apart from causing irreparable damage to workers, occupational accidents cause indirect losses to machinery and the environment, and have a negative impact on workplace productivity. Therefore, it is vital to identify potential occupational hazards and take measures to minimize workplace accidents. Most accidents happen due to the lack of guards and safety equipment, inadequate or inconsistent training to employees, or compromised safety.

We have developed a Risk Assessment Plan for our plant that identifies all the hazards associated with a particular manufacturing and sub-processes. An effective risk assessment will also determine the risk level of the hazard, review the safety and working condition of the equipment, and recommend the necessary control measures. Following precautionary measures are taken to ensure work place safety.

1. We regularly conduct work place safety trainings.
2. Evaluate and Maintain machineries regarding safety standards.
3. We have proper safety dress for our plant staff which reduces accidental risk.
4. We have strict policy to use of personal protection equipment (PPE) like ear muffs, face masks, helmet hard head, safety shoes, safety googles and gloves (where required).

COVID-19 safety precautions at Ambrosia:

Economies all over the world are ramping back up. It would be extremely premature to say that the pandemic is over, but even COVID-19 can’t keep the wheels of production still for long. The question is, can frontline workers in essential industries, like manufacturing, return to work with confidence?

It’s an employer’s responsibility to provide a work environment that’s as safe as possible and not just because regulations say so.

COVID-19 presents several unique challenges for manufacturing environments. Billions of people around the globe depend on resilient supply chains and timely delivery of essential products. Shuttering plants indefinitely isn’t possible. We are manufacturing with employee safety and this is our No. 1 priority

Here are some precautions that are needed to stay safe from this pandemic

1. Pre-shift screening.
2. Wearing of facemask.
3. Maintaining appropriate social distance.
4. Sanitizing hands repeatedly.
